Power Harassment in the Workplace
WORKSHOP A (Ruth Rodgers)
Most women know about and some have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace and/or elsewhere. However, there is another type of harassment being recognized by government departments including the Japanese government's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. It is called power harassment and it is a very serious form of bullying.
It is very subtle and sneaks up on the employee, and before the employee realizes it, they may be fired. This workshop will explain what power harassment is, how it occurs, the law that protects employees, and will look at an overview of an actual case.

Feel di Riddim -
Jamaican Dance
WORKSHOP C (Trudy-Ann Smart)
This is an introductory dance lesson in Jamaican traditional and popular dances. Participants will learn not just movements but how to "Feel di Riddim" (feel the rhythm), how to hear it, and what to do with it. Dance is a conversation between body and soul.
Therefore, this workshop aims to boost our confidence and pride in our black bodies, help us to move with a grace like
the wind in a coconut tree, to walk with a sensuous fluidity like the cool river water flowing over rocks. Through dance we can forget everything and feel completely happy.
Remember, "life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain," so just dance!

What is spirituality? As we grow older and experience new things we become more aware and it’s natural for views to change. How do we determine what’s best for us?
